The original Chimo that welcomed everyone to Cochrane for 50 years was replaced a few years ago. He was trucked off and almost forgotten. Thanks to local company Digalot, which provided a flatbed truck, forklift and drivers, Butch and Roger managed to bring Chimo back on display. This time he graces the entrance to the Habitat. He has seen better days, so our next step will be to renovate him and give him a brand new coat of ‘fur.’
We welcome everyone to visit him. Perhaps you have some memories with him that you’d like to relive. We also welcome any donations to help us complete the renovations this summer.
