Community is a big part of the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat and it’s why we love our volunteers so much. Without the help of each person that walks through our doors we wouldn’t be able to support the protection of polar bears across Canada. Volunteering is a great way to make yourself feel good while doing good! Not only that, you get to meet other people, help support conservation and protection efforts of polar bears and build a variety of skills through new experiences.

Please fill out and submit the Volunteer Application below for the opportunity to become a Polar Bear Habitat Volunteer. We always appreciate any time you can share to help us save polar bears! If you have any questions, please email

We would like to thank everyone who has expressed interest in our international programme, and especially the volunteers that participated in our pilot expedition this summer, which was particularly well-received.

We are currently reviewing the programme and making changes based on the feedback we got, and look forward to relaunching the IVP soon.
